First Lady “Charlie” Ambrose is well known for her cheerful spirit and her willingness to worship. She is a leader who knows that the true meaning of living a righteous life is to seek God not just through her prayer life, but also through worship.

She is a native of Illinois, and has made the south suburbs of Chicago her home. Being a preacher’s kid “PK”, First Lady grew up at St. Bethel Baptist Church, in Chicago Heights, Illinois under the pastorate of her father, Pastor John H. Rice, Sr. At an early age, she learned to love the Lord and experience the joy of worshipping and serving in the church.

After completing her secondary education, she attended Governor State University in University Park, Illinois where she studied Business Administration. Spending most of her professional career climbing the corporate ladder in management at Blue Cross Blue Shield, she opted for early retirement in 2016 to join her husband in full-time ministry. Together, they enjoy co-laboring at The Word Worship Center “TWWC”, which is a powerful, personal and progressive ministry located in the south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.

As Chief Administrative Officer of TWWC, Lady Ambrose prayerfully and skillfully draws upon her extensive background in business administration and leadership to create a Spirit of Excellence in the operations of the ministry. One thing that she enjoys the most is operating in her gift of exhortation, as she loves encouraging believers in Christ and always remains available to teach and offer spiritually wise counsel.

Being thankful to God for everyone who has been a blessing in her life, she is mostly grateful to God for placing her in a position to be a helpmeet to her husband of over 33 years, and a wonderful man of God, Pastor Claude D. Ambrose.

She and her husband reside in the south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois and have one son, Andrae and a daughter-in-law, Denise Ambrose. Everyone who knows Lady Ambrose knows that they can reach her on any day of the week, except for Friday evenings, as that is reserved for “date night” with her husband. First Lady enjoys life, interior decorating and being around family and friends. She is a phenomenal cook and loves hosting guests at their home for dinner and cookouts.
